Institute of Information Assurance Studies -- Mission Statement
West Virginia University's Institute for Information Assurance Studies (IIAS) serves as a focal point for interdisciplinary research and educational activities in fields related to information assurance at WVU. The threefold mission of the IIAS is to:
- Coordinate and promote synergy among existing education and research programs in fields related to information assurance
- Serve as a clearinghouse for information related to educational and research opportunities in the fields related to information assurance
- Develop new initiatives and programs designed to promote the interdisciplinary field information assurance at WVU
