  • Currently works with MITRE in the realm of Biometrics
    Since graduating in 2004 worked in WV at multiple companies (SRA International, WVHTF, Ideal Innovations Inc., MITRE) supporting biometric initiatives within DoD and DOJ. My experience is focused on Applied Biometric Systems which moves away from sensors and collection systems to more of the architecture and transmission mechanisms to process Biometrics. Such mechanisms include implementing standards like DoD and FBI EBTS to transaction management/workflow.

Stephen Schoenberger

  • Working as an associate engineer for Identification Technology Partners, INC a consulting firm based out of the DC area with contracts here in WV working on biometrics and other identity management solutions. Married to a fellow WVU graduate (Nursing) and we live here in Morgantown (Cheat Lake area).

Ryan Triplett

  • Mr. Ryan Triplett is the Research/Test Engineer with the National Biometric Security Project. He serves as the principal voting representatives on the International Committee for Information Technology Standards (INCITS). Mr. Triplett supports the vital standards development process on both national and international fronts by participating, contributing, and leading efforts to adopt biometric related standards. Mr. Triplett is involved with several ongoing biometric working group efforts and provides expertise to the biometric industry on the research and development fronts. Mr. Triplett is a U.S. Army veteran and served at the 101st Airborne Division in Fort Campbell, KY where he was involved with the Forward Area Air Defense Command Control and Intelligence sector (FAADC2I). Mr. Triplett holds Bachelor's Degrees in Electrical Engineering and Biometric Systems from West Virginia University and an Executive Masters of Business Administration degree.

Christofer McGinnis

  • Christofer (CJ) McGinnis was the 2008-2009 President of SSAB and graduated Summa Cum Laude as a University Honors Scholar in December, 2009 with Bachelor of Science degrees in Biometric Systems and Computer Engineering. His areas of interest are biometric applications, image processing, and computer security. CJ believes that biometrics is a diverse and growing field with implications in national security, criminal justice, personal security, identity management, as well as the commercial sector. He also believes that students at WVU should take advantage of the unique opportunities given to them in biometrics.   • Danillya Wilson

  • Danillya Wilson was the 2008-2009 Secretary of SSAB. She is a senior, majoring in Business Management. Her involvement with SSAB springs from an interest in Biometrics from a business point of view. She believes that there is an untapped side of Biometrics from a commercial standpoint that can be better handled by those in the business environment.

    Prior to her involvement with SSAB, Danillya served on the Maniacs Board as an elite member. She is also involved with NSCS and the Honors College. Danillya can be contacted through her mix e-mail: dwilson6 at mix.wvu.edu.

  • Shawn Cain

  • Shawn Cain was the 2008-2009 Treasurer of SSAB. He is a senior, majoring in Accounting. His interest in Biometrics came from an internship with ManTech International Corporation, a biometrics company listed as one of Business Week's "Top 100 Hot Growth Companies." Shawn's interest in biometrics ranges from a business standpoint, personal security, and to prevent/detect accounting fraud.
