Minutes: February 27, 2009

Trips- dates are set

• FBI: CJIS Center: April 23, 2009
  - Clarksburg, WV - provided travel through WVU
  - 8AM-Noon
  - Sam, Shawn, Eddie, Joseph, CJ
  - Bus with BioCop and Forensics
• NSA Headquarters: March 31, 2009
  - Fort Meade, MD - about 3.5 hours away
  - 6AM-8PM
  - Tour of NSA (10AM-1PM) and Cryptologic Museum (1:30-2:30PM)
  - SSAB will cover lunch/dinner (around 3PM-4PM)
  - Eat before we leave in the morning/bring a snack
  - Peter, Sam, Eddie, CJ, Brittany
  
• Class excuses will be provided
• New WVU Policy- we may have to take rental cars, if not, who has vehicles/willing to drive?
• If you are still interested, sign up now! You can always change your mind.

Future Events/Calendar Planning

• SSAB meeting dates set: 3/27, 4/24
  - Officer elections held on 4/24
  - Nominations held on 3/27
• Pizza fundraiser: 4/21 (4/23- CJIS tour, 4/24- officer elections)

T-Shirts

• Preliminary Design
  - Raghu's logo, blue base, gold lettering
  - Need someone to take charge on this
  - Looking like the shirts are mostly for use next year and beyond
  - Design on the front(?)

Volunteering

• Current volunteer hours - approx. 146
• Remember: up to 25 community service hours can count (Soup Opera, Ronald McDonald house, etc.)
• All forms are available on website.
• Reminder: top volunteer gets $50 gas/gift card
