Officer Nominations
- The positions of vice president and treasurer are open for nomination. This is a great opportunity for new members to become involved. You can nominate yourself.
- Elections are October 3rd
- You can run for multiple offices, Run for VP first, then treasurer
- Officer Descriptions:
President: Christofer McGinnis
- Plans and runs meetings
- Plans and organizes trips and events
- Gathers information useful to members
- Attends SAC meetings and voices the concerns of SSAB members
- Main contact for those interested in SSAB
Vice President: Open for Nomination
- Assists president in planning and running meetings
- Performs all duties of president in the event he/she is unavailable
- Assists in the recruitment of new members
- Prepares to eventually take over for the president when he/she graduates
Secretary: Danillya Wilson
- Takes minutes at meetings
- Sends out minutes to members
- Designs any informational flyers or advertisements
Treasurer: Open for Nomination
- Monitors bank account and reports on funds available and expenditures
- Facilitates fundraising and acquires funding for special events
Webmaster: Eddie Jesinsky
- Maintains SSAB website and updates with new information
- Improves communication through use of internet applications and social networks such as Facebook and its respective SSAB group

Volunteering
- Volunteer hours translate to more funds for SSAB to go on trips and other activities. We only had about 14 hours last year, so our account is at $200.00. We need more hours!
- FBI Opportunities
- The partnership between the FBI: CJIS center and WVU will soon provide a number of volunteer and paid opportunities within the college. SSAB members will receive high priority.
- 6 months to a year
- Biometrics Collection for the FBI: trying to provide 1000 biometrics (comprehensive) - iris, fingerprints, face recognition
- Paid positions for collectors - Fall family weekend Fri and Sat lab tours (10/17 4-6) and picnic (10/18 around noon)

- Founder of SSAB (2003) is coming to WVU Friday, October 3rd. She would like to meet with SSAB members.
