Officer Elections

• New officer terms: beginning with 2009 Spring semester, new officers will be elected during the final meeting of the school year to allow for better coordination for the following year.
• Vice-Presidential elections will be held first. If you are elected VP, you are no longer eligible to run for Treasurer.

  Curtis Thomas (Assistant to Treasurer)
• All officers need to stay after the meeting for more information.

Volunteering

• Volunteer Encouragement Program
  - To increase volunteer hours and funding for SSAB.
  - Reach 10 hours to receive a $10 gift certificate to Hollywood theaters or Carmike Cinemas.
  - Hollywood Theaters Wins
  - Good for multiple times: i.e. 10 hrs = 1 pass; 20 hrs = 2 passes
  - Member who volunteers the most hours before the final meeting receives a $50 gift card or gas card.
• Opportunities are coming up- will be posted online.
• Fall family weekend (10/17 & 10/18)
  - Fri: 3:30-6:30 tours and reception.
  - Saturday: 12:00-2:00 student org fair and picnic.
  - Kelly informed us of transportable display
  - Need to locate, will ask Dr. Hornak and Dr. Cukic
• Enrollment for CCE forms and passed out volunteer hours forms.

Fundraising

• Pizza Sale- Oct. 13th (Mon) or 15th (Wed)
  - Two locations: downtown and engineering
  - $2 slice/$1 can of soda- Pizza Hut Pizza Mia
  - $10 for whole pizza
  - 10-2; 2 orders, 1 midway through the day
  - Sam's card for soda?
  - 4 volunteers to help (free pizza/drink)
  - Will send out e-mail when confirmation is received

• NSA (Fort Meade, MD) - Confirmed Spring semester
  - US citizen, full name, place of birth, date of birth, SSN
• Still awaiting confirmation for CJIS, Fusion, NBSP, Lockheed Martin/BEACON.
