Master's of Science in Software Engineering

The Master's of Science in Software Engineering degree program aspires to serve both adult learners from the local computer and information technology industry and traditional resident, full-time graduate students. The core course foundation for the Master's of Science in Software Engineering is realized through the Software Engineering Certificate Program which began in the Fall of 1996. The Certificate consists of 15 credits, 12 of which can be completed as a non-degree student. The Master's degree requires an additional 18 credits to the certificate. To work towards a master's degree the student must be accepted to the MSSE program.

The courses for both the Certifcate and the Master's degree are offered one evening per week, off campus, at the NASA IV & V facility in Fairmont, WV. or live via the internet.
