Kernel of a Multiprocess Operating System, designed for educational use in conjunction with a textbook by Milenkovic [1987]. Mid 1980s.
MINIX
Educational OS designed to be highly compatible with UNIX, for use with a text by Tanenbaum [1986]. Mid 1980s.
MPX
Multiprogramming Executive. Multitasking executive for small computers, designed for educational use along with a text by Lane & Mooney [1988]. Mid 1980s.
TUNIS
Toronto University System. Unix lookalike written in the EUCLID language. Early 1980s [Holt 1983].
XINU
Limited Unix lookalike developed for educational purposes, for use with a text by Comer [1984]. "XINU Is Not Unix." Early 1980s.
